- emyr - 11-03-2008 ![]() Following a power failure last week, the telephones have developed an overpowering noise level. The lines are clear when Comfort is disconnected, so I am now by-passing Comfort. I have tried rerouting the input lines to see if this was mains pick up but that had no effect. There is no noise on the Comfort output when the input is disconnected. My system is rather old but has given trouble free operation for the last 9 years. My problem is probably old hat for most of you but is new to me. Regards Emyr George - slychiu - 11-04-2008 If there were no other changes the board may have been damaged, not by the power failure but perhaps by a lighting strike or surge voltage You wil have to return the board for repair or upgrade If you bought the system 9 years ago from Comfort Home controls, do not return it to them, send us a private message or email to support@cytech.biz for repair or upgrade instructions regards Cytech Tech Supprt |
