The C-Bus protocol now supports the ability to change the text dynamically for  CBus devices which support text like DLT switches and touchscreens.
This would allow Comfort to dynamically change the test on a DLT switch depending on Comfort events like Time Programs, Away/Night/day/Vacation/Security Off mode, Control menu, temperature, Entry alert, Alarms etc
The UCM/CBUS currently does not support the C-Bus Long command format which makes this possible. This would require a change in firmware to the flash-based UCM/CBus. Old type UCM/CBUS < 5.100 would not be able to upgrade the firmware, they would need to buy a new flash-based UCM/CBus (whose firmware could be upgraded using UCM05 and Comfigurator)
This poll asks the question, not just whether it would be a good idea to support this feature, but whether users would buy/upgrade to the new UCVM/Cbus should this become available
Please post your feedback to this topic on how you would use this feature if available and any other relevent comments

It may happen but not immediately. We have a lot of projects on our plate and resources are limited. We did not  get many responses to our poll either
