Locations is one way to do it but there is a better way to change the number of rings i.e. through Program Menu.
You need to sign in using either user01 or engineer code to access it.
After sign in, press 9 for Program Menu.
Press 1 for Answering Machine.
Press 1 for Number of Rings.
Press 0 for Security Off.
Enter new number of rings followed by # key.
Press F to exit the menu.
PS. the original post has been edited to provide a better way of changing the number of rings manually from keypad.
