- kevinsales - 11-16-2010 Hi All, Iam having trouble adding an Appliance module set to O1 on the X10 range, i want the item to come on at dusk using the LightSensor and off after a set time using Timer05 ive tried allsorts even referting to other responses that are working in a similar way, Does anyone have an idea how to acheve this? iam doing my head in here ![]() Many thanks in anticipation Kevin. - ident - 11-17-2010 Are you using a Light Sensor Module (LSM) which is connected to an Input? The LSM output will be Open when it is dark and Closed when it is Light You need to program the Zone number as Switch Normally Closed, so that when it is dark the zone is off and when it is light the zone is ON The Zone ON Response should be the one that switches on the X10 for the set time. An example of the Response is shown below X10 A1 On Do X10A1OFF After 30 Seconds Using Timer05 The LSM Manual is attached. It is now discontinued - kevinsales - 11-17-2010 Hi, Thanks for the manual, thats great, ill give it a go ref. the manual. if i have a further problem ill post the code i am/will be trying to use, no doubt i will have made an school boy error somewhere.
