- bs85 - 12-10-2010 Hi, I have just received a Velbus UCM. I have a problem that the D4 LED is constantly flashing and writing to the UCM eeprom always fails at 64 percent Any Ideas? Comfort II Ultra 5.204 Ethernet UCM 5.200 Velbus UCM 5.220 Comfigurator 3.2.4.0 - slychiu - 12-11-2010 According to the UCM/Velbus manual, see https://www.cytech.biz/ucmvelbus_manual.html the D4 LED constantly flashes when the U2 EEPROM is not inserted. Can you check if there is an IC in the U2 socket? - bs85 - 12-11-2010 Yes there is an IC in the U2 socket an ATMLU946 When on Comfugurator in the velbus settings if you go into monitor mode then activate a velbus device the D4 LED goes out. When trying to write to the velbus eeprom it stops at 64 percent for approx 25 seconds and then errors. Create a new project in Comfigurator and read from the velbus eeprom which it completes OK and the devices from a failed write are listed. - slychiu - 12-13-2010 Sorry it appers that the wrong eeprom was inserted in the U2 socket. It should be a 256K eeprom but a 64 K eeprom was used instead, leading the the Error LED blinking Can you send your name, address and contact number by Private Message or to support@cytech.biz so we can send a new U2 EEPROM - bs85 - 12-13-2010 PM sent - bs85 - 12-22-2010 Received replacement EEPROM and now its working.
