- gjb - 01-09-2014 Does the Universal UCM support the RFXLAN Transceiver please? http://www.rfxcom.com/store/Transceivers/11201 - ident - 01-10-2014 Yes the Universal UCM with ethernet supports the RFXLan , one way, ie Comfort can send commands to it. I will look for an application nore - gjb - 01-10-2014 Thanks. Just to clarify, as I was under the impression that the Universal UCM was capable of two-way communication, are you saying that Comfort will not see any data received by the RFXLAN? If I have understood this correctly, is there likely to be any two-way support for the RFXLAN in future? - ident - 01-10-2014 The universal UCM is capable of 2 way communications through 1 TCP port, but the RFXLan device requires 2 TCP Ports, 1 in each direction Hence the UCM is able to talk to this device in 1 direction only I cannot say if we would go on to develop a 2 way interface, it demands on the demand - gjb - 01-10-2014 Thanks for explaining. One final question on this subject. Is the Universal UCM able to communicate with the xPL version of the RFXLAN? http://www.rfxcom.com/store/Transceivers/11202 - ident - 01-10-2014 No we have not tried the xPL version yet |
