- MDKKEN - 11-12-2014 Hi, I have purchased Dimplex Smart fan convector radiators: these have a pilot wire when energised will set the radiator into ECO mode. The wire requires 100 milli amps at 230V. What I would like to do - is when a PIR detects there is no one in the room is to put the radiator into ECO mode via energising the pilot wire. What relays can I use for comfort to do this? How do I do this? - slychiu - 11-12-2014 You need a 230V relay to connect 230V to the pilot wire The newer RLY01 with 4 relays is rated for 230V (old one is rated only 30V) You may need an electrician to do the connection as there may be regulations |
