The new firmware has the following change
When a Counter is mapped to a Zwave Node, any change in the Zwave node obtained by polling by the UCM/Zwave of the node will trigger the Counter Response based on its value
This makes it consistent with Sensor mapped to Zwave node - any change in the zwave node triggers the Sensor Response based on the value
Note that the polling time varies from a few seconds to 20 seconds maximum so the update and response may not be immediate
This new feature allows Zwave nodes to trigger Responses in Comfort without needing to Associate the Zwave node to a Virtuak Node
