- palmlodge - 02-22-2007 Well, this was working... I no longer seemed to be able to sign in remotely - neither on the house phone, nor from dialling in remotely. Problem we had before when this did not work was the record level was low, so now I\'ve put it up to about 85% Anything else that can turn this off ? Pressing the * key to sign in furiously does nothing. - Guest - 02-23-2007 How about the keypads? Do the keypads still allow you to sign in? - palmlodge - 02-23-2007 I can still login/ etc via the keypad ok. - ident - 02-23-2007 The Record Level was originally about 20%, you have increased it to 85%. As the scale is logarithmic the level has been increased perhaps by a factor of many tens, and the signal may be saturating, ie exceeding the maximum signal level. The DTMF tones would be clipped off. Reduce the Record level back to the original level and increase it by a smaller increment to get an acceptable record level. Also see the Tuning Parameters Guide at https://www.cytech.biz/temp/techinfo/Tuning%20Guide.pdf which shows the effects of Tuning parameters on volume and DTMF |
