- LeeBurley - 12-13-2017 Hi,I have a Comfort system fully installed and working really well for a number of years. I need to add another keypad to the system but cant get a direct RS485 cable to the location. I do have IP network connectivity so I have bought a pair of RS485 to IP transceivers. Can someone let me know the RS485 settings in Comfort for Baud Rate, Parity etc so that I can \"tunnel\" the RS485 over Ethernet? Thanks in advance! - slychiu - 12-13-2017 The Rs485 parameters are Baud rate 9600 8 data bits, 1 stop bit No parity Please update us if you can get it working and which device you are using. It may be an interesting solution - LeeBurley - 02-20-2018 I am trying with another pair of rs485 devices which apparently support transparent tunnelling. On the comfort bus, is it half duplex?
