HELP! - my main panel has just died... I measure 230V at the transformer, and I measure 16VAC at J102 on the RGR. However in the digital section I measure only 3.6VDC across the 12v+ / 12V- pins. there are no lights on ANY board, nor any of the UCMs attached to it, and all sensors wired to it are dead. I\'ve tried a total power down, but I can\'t get it to show any sign of life... - is it FUBAR?
Any help at all would be much appreciated, as my system seems totally dead at the moment.

OK, panic over...
I figured there must be a resettable fuse, but I just couldn\'t find anything to reset... - seems I had a short on the 12V+/COM lines from a new sensor that was being fitted, I removed the short, but then was concerned because I couldn\'t find anything that looked like a resettable fuse on the board...
Anyhoo, after removing the short, I did another complete power down, including disconnecting the battery, and everything came back to life... :-)

There a a number of resettable fuses on board They may look like discs or may be surface mounted. When there is overcurrent, the resettable fuse opens.
The fuse will be very hot to the touch.
When the overcurrent is removed and the component cools down it will reset and the system will go back to normal. It is not necessaru to turn off power
So the most important thing to do is to remove connections from the board which draw current.
