(/thread-922.html) |
- palmlodge - 01-15-2008 I am able to send out RS232 commands via a UCM. But can I also Read data coming in ? Or does this require a special UCM to be built ? Id like to read RS232 commands from the heating system. This would be a great addition to Comfort to directly link into the Heatmiser system (I know several people with this heating control system, and some are also Comfort users) - admin - 01-16-2008 In order for the UCM and Comfort to understand the data coming in from an external device, customised firmware is needed eg the UCM/CBus and UCM/EIB The UCM needs to know what to do with the incoming data, whether to save them into a counter and trigger counter responses or otherwise. |
