I found a post on the CBus forum explaining exactly why Homegate doesn\'t want to \"work\" with the security application.
This was back in 2006. I tested a later version of HomeGate and they now have native security application support and the system arm status etc. works perfectly. Looks like I have to upgrade my HomeGate software at some stage.

What you have done is what is referred to here as a \"dodgy hack\". Whilst it may work, and is currently the only way of doing this, it is not a particularly nice way of doing it. You can only do this hack in C-Touch, not in HomeGate or Schedule Plus.
