It was not deliberately misleading. At the time that was written the Lighting application was the only known application and the temperatiure sensors were not available. \"Inputs\" were referring to external inputs for temperature and light sensors. \"subsystems including security, lighting, HVAC\" did not refer specifically to Cbus, but other subsystems in the home as Comfort works with many subsystems.
These sections have now been removed nevertheless
The UCM/Cbus shall be upgraded in the future to support other applications, just like the original UCM/EIB was upgraded to be highly configurable, and that firmware upgrade shall be avallable using the Bus upgrade method
I think you will find that what Comfort has to offer for a Cbus installation is still considerable, Time Programs, Logic Engine, Sunrise/Sunset with automatic daylight saving, Intruder alarm fully integrated to Cbus, Scene control of multiple Cbus grroup addreses for any application, telephone control with Voice menu etc
