Hi All,
I have been trough a bit of pain with updating the config to the system. Chiu has been brilliant in supporting me to a point where I got the latest system firmware installed.
Configurator 3.3.3
Frimware 6.005
UCM 10 6.002.
Basically the upgrading of a config change works ok sometimes and not other. I have disabled timeout on the DS manager which helped get the system firmware on. For the rest of the time what I have been doing when uploading stops is pressing the reset button on the ETH UCM. However, I have now put the case on and its a pain to do this as I end up triggering the tamper alarm every time I have to hit the reset, check out my other posts for help with tamper alarm :-)
I get no interruption when doing a ping - t of the system so it\'s on the network.
Now I have been away for around 3 weeks and the iPhone app has connected seemlessly for all this time. However a couple of days ago the app said it was connected, but when I entered my code it did not change to the keypad screen as normal. Also I logged on to the configurator and it would not talk to the system.
I pressed the reset on the ETH UCM without making any changes to comfigurator, iPhone or the network and everything came to life again.
I realise I need to upgrade the ETH UCM to 6008 and intend doing that when I get a chance over the next week.
But has anyone got any ideas on what I can to in order to keep the connection alive without having to keep pressing the reset button. This is just bad as I have triggered the tamper alarm a couple of times late a night, see my other post asking for help on removing the case without triggering the alarm :-)
