Log files

This approach to triggering the alarm looks promisng but unfortunately it reports the zone number and not the user.  I have tried activating the alarm from a response using the AlarmUser action but it does not place a record on the event file.

Also I am a bit puzzled about the System information.  It works fine with a direct link via the UCM, both of which I think are UCM05 but doesn\'t give the vocabulary when I access it through the web module using the passthrough port.  This won\'t be goiing via UCM01 as the second system doesn\'t have one permanently attached. One of he web servers is Mk 1 and one Mk2

To answer the question about System information first - If you are accessing through the CWM via Passthrough port, then the firmware of the CWM is important. The CWM firmware is essentially the same as the UCM firmware, so only firmware 5.092 or higher will report this information. A CWM2 will certainly work but a Mk1 CWM 5.070 will not

Thanks This is probably the problem. I\'ll update the firmware on the CWMs and see what happens. Can I update the CWM firmware using the latest UCM05 firmware?

The Mk1 CWM does not have the Flash microcontroller. The U1 IC is a One time programmable type so you cannot upgrade the firmware except by changing the U1 IC. Flash upgrades were introduced in Comfort II
Do you need to know the vocabulary version?

No but the system seems to get worried and I wasn\'t sure whether there would be a problem if the system was reading 0 and I was downloading 5. If it is OK I\'ll just ignore it.

The attached firmware  ULT 5.177 is for you to test.

In this firmware, all user logins are logged in the event log. so if you sign in to hear the menu that will be logged. We are not sure if this will be a permanent feature for the standard Comfort system

Also this fixes the bug that the Do Alarm User was not logged in the event log

Hence this should serve your purposes. Let me know how it goes
