I thought I\'d start this thread so we can publish any hidden or less well known features of the ComfortClient or even share innovative ways you\'ve found to use it.
One feature that is not well known (and in fact its my fault for not yet documenting it thoroughly) is that the ComfortClient supports \"Private\" fonts; by this I mean that they can be loaded as the ComfortClient starts and don\'t need to be installed as System Fonts in the Operating System. This feature was \"slipped\" into the product as part of the \"GaugePack\'s\" feature.
See the attached screenshot.
Here I downloaded a free Truetype font from the Internet (as a demo) and placed it (or rather them as this font has a set of variants) in the FONTS subfolder of the ComfortClient installation folder.
Now start the ComfortClient and open Floorplan Manager and add/edit a label and you\'ll see the new \"Private\" fonts merged with the system fonts in the Font dropdown list.
Save it and you can see the result.
If a floorplan is loaded and the font defined cannot be found in Private or System font collections (ie maybe you\'ve subsequently deleted them), then the font will default to ARIAL.
