I have 2 KP04 keypads tith the same firmware installed. ID 1 has the correct date 08 Sept 11, the other has 08 ust 11. Is there a language setting on each keypad of is it faulty.

Can you press *1 simultaneouly on the second keypad. This synchronises the words on the keypad with Comfort. You will see a black progress bar  on the LCD
