Which UCM is this?
#1
Have come across this during a clear out. I had forgotten I had purchased it some years back.
I think it is a older version of a UCM with an out-of-date ethernet daughter board - I note it also has an RS232 connector.
Am I right in thinking the daughter board can be swapped for the later daughterboard and that the UCM firmware can then be updated to 7.098.

This is a UCM/ETH01
The UCM can be upgraded to version 7 using the UCM Firmware programming cable see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1782.html

You can remove the ETH01 and plug in USB or ETH03

I had one of these too. Note the serial port in the picture! I had to unsolder this on mine as otherwise it fouled the Eth3 card.

Ah yes, I forgot about the Rs232
I think you had to sollder another IC as well the Rs232 driver. Better not to try to use it then

I think mine was a bit earlier and didnt have a U2 socket so I had to also fit but I can see this one does already.

i think the serial socket would just need to be removed for clearance.
