Cancelling dial-outs after an alarm?
#1
I have a long running problem where I usually cannot sign-in to Comfort when it dials me after an alarm. (separate forum thread about that)

Is there any way I can force the dial-outs to stop?  If it is in Night Mode and I'm at home, I have signed in on a keypad and set Security Off but the system still keeps trying to dial-out.

Is there any Action I can execute which will cancel the ongoing dial-out attempts?

Just hoping someone may have thoughts on this now the holiday period is over?

Sorry are the holidays over?
If Comfort is disarmed after an alarm, it will dial to the same numbers in the intruder alarm dial indexes

If you were at home durinmg the dial out perhas the noise of the siren was  coming into the phone and causing Comfort not to detect the dtmf tones. go to a place where the noise is not so loud, or put the phone in Mute mode

If you cannot sign in and wish to stop the dial out you can reset the Comfort board in Comfigurator.
Or on the keypad press F0 and enter the engineer code 6789#, press 7,4,3 to reset Comfortt

Ok, thanks, so there is no way to stop the dial-outs other than a reset.

When we try to login (after Comfort calls us) it is silent but the issue is that it is from a recent Samsung phone and the DTMF tones are too short (and there is no way to set them to Long mode - that option doesn't exist on UK Samsung firmware)  Sad

Might be worth adding a new Action code to future Comfort firmware updates to achieve this without a reset? There must be other people who sometimes need to achieve that.

Yes, sometimes it takes multiple calls before even just a simple # is recognised. I do press it multiple times.

I'm also now thinking that maybe I need to check and reset all my Comfort call volume/level/gain related parameters back to defaults as I  do remember experimenting with some of them a year or so ago when I had similar issues with DTMF recognition by the GSM module.  Is there an easy way to find out what all the default settings for that type of parameter should be?

You can just open a default template for Ultra and check the defaults
