Zone Trouble after arming

I sometimes get zone trouble at any zone that has motion during the arming process. This does not happen every single time, but when it does, all motions thereafter trigger zone trouble. The only way to resolve this is sometimes a reset or disarming the alarm.

Initial I thought it was a faulty PIR, as it was at some point the PIR next to the keypad upstairs, but I have seen over some time that other PIRs that have occupancy at arming do the same.

I have an ULTRA panel. Was about to get version info and just realized that the firewall is now blocking Comfigurator on my old PC and I cannot load it on my MAC.

Did you upgrade firmware recently?
Zone trouble should only occur when there is unknown voltage on the zone terminals. Check the resistance across the zone wires when disconnected from comfort, ie remove the terminal blocks and merasure the resistance on the zone wires with the door or window or PIR closed. the reistanmce should be less than 20 ohms, but If the resistance fluctuates, there is a problem with the wires.

Windows 11 is more aggressive in blocking unsigned software. Please download 4.0.4 and install at https://cytech.biz/download_files.php?item_id=1521

I tried downloading 4.0.4, am getting the same issue.

I created a new windows machine on proxmox, loaded 4.0.4 and this is what shows on my system.

Comfort II Ultra v8.030

The problemn should be due to one of the following

1. wiring problems, either shorted to other wires or voltages or high resistance
   
2. intermittent sensor problems
   
3. 3 damaged zone inputs
   

The 1st 2 are more likely

To test the 3rd possibility, remove the wires from the affected zone and short the zones with a wire so they are permanently closed. Open and close the wirest and check iof the zone troublks still occur. Leave themin place for a few days as the problem is intermittenm

You can also move the zones to an unused zone, like on a LEM

I would like to add that these zones do not report trouble at all in any other case. The only time that they actually report zone trouble is during arming, and if you arm and then you move away from the keypad, sometimes it then reports zone trouble. Other than that, it never reports zone trouble  if the alarm is either off or in a state. They only do that when there's arming, and it's sometimes not always.

tHAT IS strange. I suspect that the voltage at the zone terminlas is close to the threshold of being detected as Trouble. Are you able to measure the resistance at the zone terminal when the terminals are unplugged from the Comfort PCB, and the door or winodow is closed.  Measure the resistance for about a minute and check if  the value is stable or if it changes. Also do you have End of line resistors at the zones? That will determine what reading you should get
