Sorry, I should have said \"there is a TransmitX10 command in the HS plug-in\", not \"in HS\". This is the plug-in command that I\'m referring to, the HS command for direct control is simply hs.Transmit, whereas the plug-in command is hs.PlugIn(\"pjcComfort2\").TransmitX10 or hs.PlugIn(\"pjcComfort2\").Transmit. So my understanding is that this function does send the command to Comfort. I haven\'t tested it myself, but from the plug-in documentation:
TransmitX10 (HouseCode, UnitCode, FunctionCode, RepeatCycles)
This routine is a version of the Transmit function that is dedicated to sending X10 commands to Comfort. It simplifies the process by allowing you to uses decimal values rather than the Hex values required by the \"X!\" command.

I\'ve been using the plugin with HS2. I want to upgrade to HS3 but no sign of a Plugin that works with HS3 - unless anybody knows better :-)

A quick update.
There has been no sign of anybody developing a plugin for HS3.
I have taken a different route and so far so good.
I have an Arduino board, there is an Arduino plugin for HS3.
I have connected the Arduino to the outputs of Comfort. When an output is triggered it changes the state of the Arduino input.
A proper plugin would be nice - but this solution will do for now.

I make extensive use of comfort and homeseer integration. Using the plug-in for homeseer2 to access all inputs (48 inputs used in all). Comfort outputs are also used and controlled via a plug-in by homeseer (I also make extensive use of Ethernet relay boards controlled by homeseer).
I shall be moving house in the next 12 months. Homeseer is at the heart of my home automation - with a considerable amount of coding that I will reuse. Without an HS3 plugin - I will probably look to using a different security/control system when I move... but would love to continue using what I already know.

This is from a previous post regarding X10 performance.......
I have found in the past I have had problems with X10 signals and bought a repeater to boost signals ect.
Although I am now reducing the number of X10 modules on my system (not overly keen on X0 although it has its uses)I found that if the XM10E is fitted directly on its own radial circuit (shortest possible cable length) with no other elements on that circuit it had the effect of being very effective and all the x10 modules work well, since I have done this I have had no problems with X10. I suspect most people are just plugging the module into existing circuits which is affected by other equipment that effects the signals it transmits
