OK there is far more to it than this
Is your smoke head latching or non-latching - this will determine how it is (or can be ) set up within comfort.
(I think i have this the correct way around) The lathing heads hold onto the NC contact until the power to them is broken. If you use a non-latching head then you do not need to reset S12V as the head will re-trigger (not latch) after a short time. If there is still smoke present it simply stays active if the smoke has gone it 'resets and thus negates the need to reset the head from comfort - comfort of course will stlil need a sign in to clear the smoke signal.
ALSO you may need to add the EOL resistors to allow reporting of different states.
Now you have asked the question I will take another look and provide a full explanation in the smoke section ( over the next few days as i will need to bench test again as i always forget !)
The there is another scenario with multiple heads in series etc
