When to Upgrade Firmware?

It is not necessary to upgrade firmware for existing installed systems which are not having new features added

Do check for firmware upgrades if;
  1. it is a new system which has not been installed yet. The firmware may not be the latest due to the time between firmware upgrades and sales to the supply chain
  2. New features are being added to an exiting system eg UCM/ETH03 for iod/andrid apps, new types of UCMs to support external products
  3. Installed system which is seeing problems. This may be due to bugs which have been fixed
