Maybe a safer option is to write some sort of 'keepalive routine' that sends 0x00 every 60s so that the connection doesn't timeout. Changing the DS timeout to 'never' runs the risk if the connection ever freezes then you need to reboot the UCM to recover. By sending the 0x00 you can keep it open and if it freezes then Comfort will drop the connection so you can reconnect again. Ingo
