Your explanation at the end makes sense - I wondered if it would pattern match in reverse but it never occurred to me that it would then not progress down the list (since the instructions do say you can enter the same number more than once as both Voice and SMS).
I'm at work so I just tried to dial-in and change this via the voice menus but when I'm in Engineer menu Phone numbers area (4,1) I couldn't see the obvious way to set those SMS flags after selecting phone number 1. Perhaps I have to re-enter the number and then does it ask me about the SMS flags after that?
Anyway, I'll try it through Comfigurator when I get home tonight.
