What can cause a arm failure before time runs out?

I, i have the "arm Away method" set to "After exit delay". and sometimes after send to the alarm the "Away" command and starting the arming i get a arm failure before the exit time runs out andi don't understand why. What can cause a arm failure before time runs out?
