We are working on a new version of UCM/Pi with alphawerks which will use Home Assistant https://www.home-assistant.io/ which is an open source platform. Node Red is not easy to use, but Home Assistant should be plug and play (hopefully). see the demo on Home asssistant here https://demo.home-assistant.io/#/lovelace/0
