It appears that a Dealer has been selling very old Comfort I in the UK

I would advise potential customers not to go for this "deal" Comfort I is a product that has been phased out in 2005, so this is old stock that is not under warranty and should not be sold to customers.

The availability of spare parts is limited as some of the key components  themselves have been phased out by the component manufacturers. Cytech do keep sufficient spare parts including firmware upgrades to cater for existing customers but will not supply spare parts for these products sold as new in order to prevent jeopardising the availability of  parts to existing Comfort I customers.

Please be careful when ordering Comfort products. Make sure that they are new, and not obsolete products.

This post is about a customer who ordered a new UCM and received a UCM01, an old model which was part of Comfort I

In the UK, please order  from our authorised distributors and instalers which can be found on the Cytech website
