Is there a way to stop redundant dialouts from Comfort?
This is a repeatable example:
- An alarm event causes Comfort to start dialing out
- In the meantime the user turns Comfort off
- Comfort contines to place the call but announces "security off"
In this instant it would have been better to cancel the call.
However I have had other random examples on a couple of systems where the system has been triggered and raised an alarm call as expected. Then sometime later (hours) when the owner turns off the system I get a call just to say "security off"

I understand what you mean but remember that Comfort has to act as an Intruder Alarm system. Once an alarm has been initiated, it should not be possible to cancel the call. Otherwise you can have a situation where someone breaks in, forces the owner to unset the system or he knows the code somehow and unsets it,
At least when you have a call saying Security Off you know that the system has been disarmed and on signing in you can hear the events, ie system armed, Intruder Alarm, window, Security Off which led to this
In your other example mentioned, when an alarm has been triggered and later disarmed, a dial out is always made to inform the user that the system has been restored, even if the System Disarmed Dialout is not enabled. I think this is a useful and reassuring feature

As always thanks for the swift response, just wanted to understand the logic behind it and now I do.
