The new Comfort II supports full duplex intercom between phone and keyad, phone and door station, and keypad to door station. Full duplex means that both sides of the conversation can talk and listen at the same time
Comfort I only had half duplex which means that only one side could talk and the other side listen at one time, even though switching between the two sides was automatic
Comfort II has been installed for more than 1/2 year. Has anyone got any good or bad experiences with the Intercom function?

are you using the new KP03 and KP04 keypads and DP03 door stations? Is the howling heard when intercom from phoen to keypad, or phone to door station ir kp to DP
High pitch noise is due to poisitive feedback, try to reduce the volume of the DP and KP and also adjust the mic volume on the board next to the DP and KP mics.
Dont forget for comfort 2, the KP and DP mic/voice have separate connections

The old KP02 and DP01 do not work well as Intercom because they have less accoustic isolation between speaker and mic. You should upgrade to KP03 and DP03

Hi Chiu,
the quality of the audio is much better with the new comfort II. YThe background low level noise between the doorstation and the the phone, has gone.
There have been some queries reqarding the volume level raising and lowering when a persons voice level varies slightly. Hopefully this is just a tuning problem that the application note on tuning the gains on the board and the keypad/doorstations will address.
Regards Ian

The Tuning Parameters Guide does address that.
