This is a sample cclx file that we have written, to implement Partitions. You need to use Comfigurator 3 for this, NOT comfigurator 2

Comfort does not have partitions in which different areas in the house can be armed and disarmed separately. However this function can be implemented by programming Responses. This application shows the power of Comfort's Response programming.

Keypad 2 is used to arm and disarm a partition in the Garage in this example.
Zones 11,12,13 are programmed as 24-hr partitition zones in the garage.
Keypad 2 Away and Night mode keys are used to arm or unbypass the partition after  a timed delay, with "Exit Garage announcement" , and "Garage Arm" at the end of the delay using Say Words action. There is no difference between Away and Night Mode arming in the partition.
Keypad 1's  Away and Night mode keys work as usual on the rest of the house

Away and Night keys on the other keypads will arm the other parts of the system as normal

To disarm the partition, press the Day key on Keypad 2. The  keypad asks for a user code to validate the operation.
The 24-hour zones in the partition are omitted and an announcement "Garage Open" is heard (using the Say Words Action) to indicate that the partition is disarmed.

Zone 11 is programmed as an "Entry Door" but not by Zone Type. This is done using the Zone ON and OFF Response on zone 11.
Opening zone 11 when partition is armed will start a delay to to allow the partition to be disarmed (by pressing Keypad 2 DAY key).  If not disarmed in time, an Intruder alarm is activated.
When the partition is arming, closing zone 11 door will immediately arm the partition
If this function is not required remove the Zone On and Off Response on the zone 11

Other keypads can be used to arm and disarm the other parts of the house as usual without affecting the partition and vice versa. Only keypad 2 can be used to arm and disarm the partition

The only problem is that the Keypad 2 leds indicate armed or disarmed for the main system not for the partition Other indication leds to indicate partition armed or disarmed. An SCS can also be used for this, and one of the buttons can be used to arm the partition as well

Timers and Flags are used, check the programming in the attached file.

Comfort Firmware 7.113 onwards can now support up to 4 Partitions without the need for special programing described in this post
