After a few tries we make it work,

This is the sucessfull wire connections to connect both UCM's by a RS232 cable

UCM/Velbus (Cytech) to VMB1RS (Velbus)

Change Pin's
2 -> 3
3 -> 2
4 -> 6
6 -> 4
7 -> 8
8 -> 7

The colors diagram may be diferent in your cable, so check the pin's first.

Thanks for the information, segurant. We have updated the advise in the main topic introducing the UCM/Velbus.
The hardware flow control pins are required by the VMB1RS in order to send out data to UCM/Velbus.

The UCM/Velbus in future will  be supplied with a RS232 Male connector and a Male to Female straight RS232 cable so that it can be directly connected to the VMB1RS

The plug in RS232M can be plugged in to the UCM/Velbus base board in place of the RS232F

Those who have a trial unit UCM/Velbus can request the RS232M from us at no charge

The plug in RS232M board is shown below
