Cytech have developed an Crestron interface to Comfort using the Crestron software tools, coutesy of Crestron Asia. I am happy to inform you that Crestron is able to interface with Comfort to allow full control and Monitoring of the security system using a touchscreen as a user interface. The following functions can be implemented; Arm and disarm the security system using the onscreen keypad Show zone status open, close, trouble Bypass zones and show bypass status Show AC failure, low battery, and Communications failure Work as Video intercom with the Comfort door stations with very good audio and video quality. Hear voice menu, record and hear messages The above screenshots show how the various screens can look Equipment List (typical) Crestron: MC2E Processor TPS-IMPC audio interface TPS4000 Touchscreen Comfort CP9000 Comfort Controller UCM/232M Serial Interface Module with AUD01 Audio plugin. This has a Male Rs232 connector and a straight Rs232 cable to the Crestron Female Rs232 connector The Crestron is programmed to use the Comfort protocol in talking to Comfort so a normal UCM is used (Not the universal UCM) DS01 or DS02 Intercom with Audio/Video (Optional) We believe this is the most comprehensive interface for Crestron to any alarm system The Crestron configuration files can be provided to Comfort/Crestron Installers. Please contact support@cytech.biz The Cytech Simple Windows and vtp files and images can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/crestron_module.htm Last edited on Thursday Jun 9th, 2016 06:54 am by |

I believe Crestron offers an RS232 Interface to their processor only However there is an Xpanel software which is able to access the device through an IP address to see the same user interface |
