- Fixed Bug Day of week in time sent to C-Bus was wrong
- Fixed bug - Time from Cbus to Comfort did not set the seconds value
- Sends Text Label Cbus command for DLT switches
- This firmware UCM 5.216 printed on a label on the U1 IC on the baseboard is not compatible with SIMs labelled 1223/7, 1223/4, 1151/1. Compatible with 1477/1 and ST7 version of the Cbus processor on the plug-in daughterboard. The ST7 version is shown in the photo below . Do not upgrade to 5,216 for non-compatible Cbus processor versions
Bugs- Sending commands to other applications besides Lighting will update the counter related to the group address.

Chiu,
I have a 1223/5 as well so I assume that will also not be compatible.
I do have one of those new SIM's as shown in the picture but how can I see that it's the ST7 version? There are no markings on the board itself.

The new SIMs are all of the ST7 version. There may be no version marking
At the moment the main advantage of the new firmware is the text label command
It may be possible to get an upgrade at a nominal cost for thise =who have the old version

My CBUS UCM has been in place for several years, (I forget how many, but at least 3 or 4), and hasn't had a firmware upgrade since I got it... (not had any compelling reason to, since most thinkgs have worked perfectly)....
Now I do need to get some of the new features/functionality, and I'm guessing that the vintage CBUS-UCM I have will most likely be too old to support this new firmware....
Is the underlying UCM mainboard the same? - i.e. is it only the CBUS module that has changed? - If so, can I just get a replacement CBUS module without replacing the whole UCM?
Cheers.

If your UCM/Cbus looks like the one in the first post, thenit is a second generation one whose firmware can be upgraded
If yours has a big square IC in a socket, marked CBUS 5.99 or below then it is the first generation type whose firmware cannot be upgraded by using a UCM and Comfigurator

Thanks Chiu,
I'm not at home now so I can't check, - and honestly, I haven't looked at it for such a long time that I couldn't possibly say which type it is from memory... - although I definitely do recall that it has a daughterboard just like the one in the picture in the first post...
Fingers crossed...

Nope, - mine has a big square IC in socket marked CBUS 5.75, and the CBUS daughterboard is marked 1223/5 so I guess I'm out of luck...

Please note a bug has been discovered
- Sending commands to other applications besides Lighting will update the counter related to the group address.
Eg when you send a command to Cbus Trigger application at group address 1 to 255, then Counter 1 will change to 255 as well. The Counter should only be updated by the Lighting application
This will be fixed in the next firmware version
