It appears that this subject has not been addressed for some considerable time. Firstly is there a default file .cclx for setting up remote monitoring. the old http://www.cytech-technology.com/temp/software/PD6662.cct link goes no where. Secondly outputs 1 -8 need to tie up ideally physically with 1-8 of the communicator - do you have a listing of the output functions. Thirdly do you or deoes anybody else have a ccl or cclx file that has actually been set up and is working that they would like to share with us? Forthly the available documentation from previous links is now several or more years old is it still relevent? Chiu, I note that there have been changes to EN50131/PD6662:2004/PD6662:2010/DD243/BS8243, etc. can you reassure us all that Confort2 can still comply? Here is one of many, many 'summarys' of the changes. http://www.castle-caretech.com/pdfs/en50131_bs8243_pd6662.pdf |

The documents with information on how Comfort is meets compliance to EN50131 (2009), PD6662:2010 and BS8243 (2010) can be downloaded from http://www.cytech.biz/compliance_with_en5013_pd6662_and_bs8243.html The comfort firmware 7.040 and above implement the status outputs for BS8243 to be connected to the STU http://www.comfortforums.com/view_topic.php?id=3570&forum_id=79&highlight=BS8243 However we must highlight that the product is not certified or tested by a test lab for compliance. It is not a requirement for the product to be certified as far as we understand. The Installer has to be certified by NSI or NACOSS (whatever) and has to ensure that the whole installation complies to all the regs. Most UK alarm installers are unwilling to use a product like Comfort regardless of whether it complies. |
