Hi, After ten years finally upgraded to Comfort II. I have decided to re-write my cclx file from Scratch instead of converting the old one and since it's been a long time since I made any changes to the old system Iam a bit rusty using configurator.
My question is : - I presume the new system comes with Voice Myma as default, and looking at the file mymavoicefiles zip the words I need ie 'Shed' and 'Stable' are listed but I cannot see them in the drop down when trying to select the words in the zone setup. How can I correct this?
Also how hard would it be to add the Word 'Tack' as in Tack Room to the wordlist.
Cheers

Hi
I am glad to hear about your upgrade to Comfort II
You can change the wordlist as you require using the VoicePro and VoicePlay software which you can download from http://www.cytech.biz/voiceproc_software.html
The instructions can also be downloaded from the same link
This allows you to customise your own word list in resid36.tab
If you would like to add a new word which is not in the list of existing wav files, you can get someone to record the word. She does not have to be the original Myma just so long as she sounds not too different.

Thanks for the prompt response, yes at some stage I will have a play with the voicepro software. How come though the two words 'Shed' and 'stable' are listed in the mymavoicefiles.zip as wav files but they do not appear in the drop down of the Zone word setup?

If you look at the list of wav files that are available you will see that only a small percentage are actually used in the wordlist
The number of words that can fit in the wordlist are limited due to memory limitations
Voiceproc allows any set of words to be chosen for the wordlist out of available wav files
