Hi

I am migrating from V223 to V328.

How can I successfully import my old .ccl into the new version.

Tried the import option and it dropped off all my responses and settings. The only section that seems to have imported correctly is the Gereral Tab.

Is there a conversion process or a utility to convert ?

Thanks

You can read ccl files created by Comfigurator 2 using Comfigurator 3. In Comfigurator 3, do File Open > select Files of type .ccl
This reads the ccl file. save them as .cclx file type

Hi

I upgraded my firmware on Comfort to 5.218 and my *serial ucm to 6.007

When I try to connect to Comfort i get 'Failed to write to Ucm' using Comfigurator 3.28

If I use the the newer UCM with the serial sister board with ver 6.007 I get connectivity.

What's the buzz ?

Thanks

PS *the serial ucm works with Comfigurator 2.28

Hi I'm using one of the older UCM/Serial boards (serial connector and jumper onboard) with 6.007 without any problems.  I'm using the latest Comfigurator 3.3.1 though.

I guess you've seen that issue that Ingo found in Comfigurator and serial connections if the "via KT03" box is ticked.

Check shunt SW8-H should be off (Hardware handshake)
SW8- F and G should also be off

If that still happens uninstall and reinstall Comfigurator
There may be some settings left over from the older Comfigurator

Hi

Uninstalled 331 and cleaned up the registry and reloaded version 328.

The newer UCM with the sister serial board has connectivity with 328.

The older serial UCM has no connectivity with 328.

I need both to work as I want to use the newer UCM with the plugin ethernet module for the Ipad and the older serial UCM for Control4

The older serial UCM works with 223.

Both UCM has firmware 6007

can you install 3.3.1 on another PC and check if both UCMs  are working Comfigurator 2 can coexiti with Comfigurator 3 on the same PC but you can only use one of them at a time to comunicate with the UCM because the COM port ncan be used by 1 application at a time

Also connect using Hyperterminal to the  UCM which is having problems see if you can communicate  by seyting the COM port

Hi

New UCM with sister board works on 223, 328 and hyperterminal

Old UCM works with 223 but not on 328

However the hyperterminal on old UCM is extremely slow when typing <C>LI1234

and does not respond. Tried with shunts F &G off and on

Could it have been that your 223 config was set at a different baud rate for the UCM serial; say 4800 and on 328 it is set for 9600?

I guess without checking the jumpers that set the baud rate on the card it's difficult to know.

Just a thought.

Julian

Iif you say the old UCM is extremely slow when typing LI1234 with Hyperterminal that could indicate a problen with it and why it does not work with Comfigurator

It cannot be the wrong baud rate otherwise it would not work at all, unless you set a different baud rate on Hyperterminal? the UCM does not allow diffierent baud rates exceptp for some special firmware versions

Can you send a photo of the old UCM to support@cytech.biz so we can check
