I seem to be having a few niggles with things - sometimes responces do what they should and sometimes they dont its always the ones involving RAKO -
I thought I was imagining things but I got home tonight and my outside spots were not turned on.
I have a responce call sunset - which gets activated at sunset and that switched on my outside spots.
I thought thats wierd and manually activated the response - the lights didnt go on....
I then did it again like 2 seconds later and they did??
I happened to have the monitoring window open and this was the output....I cant see any difference?
This my sound silly but I dont suppose the RAKO unit goes to sleep or anything does it?

Just had another funny - walking into the kitchen when the PIR detects movement it is supposed to switch scene 1 on.
Scene 1 activates 3 zones - what actually happened was that only one zone got switched on....
Its really wierd!!

I decided to manually run the response to switch the lights off and then back on from my pc when comfigurator threw up the message - the response in this configuraiton might not have been written to comfort etc...
When nothing has changed!!!??

Hi, schford, this problem seems relative to the response you created, I notice you use timer 0 in your response, sometimes time o is used by other parts of system, can you use other timer? if the problem still exist , can you send your latest cclx file to us so we can simulate your case and try to find the problem.

Spent all last night playing around with it and doing a bunch of new responses - seems to be working well now.. Will report back tonight.
Am off to install new enclosure and slave in the garage then just got to connect it up to the gate posts and work out how to integrate the electric gates :-)
I love comfort!!

It's significantly better now... We just got home and the outside spots were on....but walked into the kitchen and it again only switched on one channel rather than activating scene 1.
cheers

If the response managed to send a valid command to Rako then the problem may be the wrong command
Use Hyperterminal to send the same command to Rako and see if you get the same result

It usually sends the right command - its only on odd occasions that only one channel turns on and not the whole scene. I would say 99% of the time the right thing happens.

Guys - this still doesn't work consistently - an example today - I have button 4 in the hall switch set to turn on scene 4 for the landing upstairs - via comfort eg its on its own room - comfort receives the command then does an action that turns the lights on - so comfort sits in-between the rako switch and lighting unit which gives me so much flexibility - comfort rocks!
However instead of turning scene 4 on it turned on channel 1 - same thing as it does in the kitchen some times.
Tried it probably 4 or 5 times until it turned on the scene rather than the channel.....
Very irritating - any ideas?

Hi, schford, the correct setting for Rako scene is: Room:channel:scene, if you just set room and scene, the channel become random( or the rako system will remember the last time setting), your problem will happen, check your response and add channel setting between room and scene!

Hi HEfeng,
I think you might have cracked it - initially when I read your reply I thought no it cant be as a scene controls multiple channels but then I thought hang on when the rako sends it I bet it sends chanel 00 so every channel is affected b y the scene sent - so let me try that...
I'll go change all the code where I don't include channel
Will report back later
