Hello,
I'm using UCM/Ethernet to update comfort and finding that if I make >1 update to comfort in a row, I almost always lose connection to the UCM on the 2nd or 3rd update. I have my router setup to assign a reserved IP to comfort through DHCP.
I originally noticed this when learning IR codes - I could only ever do a max of 2 before comfigurator would crash and UCM connection would be gone. At first I thought this was just related to IR updates (a problem in itself), but now realise this happens anyway regardless of doing IR updates or not.
On checking DS Manager I note that the IP has changed from the Router assigned id (192.168.....) to 1.0.0.1. The shortest way I have found to connect to the UCM again is to go into the router config, unassign the fixed IP and reassign forcing the original IP again. That method works, comfigurator and DS manager can see the correct IP again, but is a real hassle. Why does the UCM/Ethernet keep losing the IP?
Thanks

Is your setting for DS Manager DHCP enabled or not?
The fixed IP is in effect o DHCP is disabled ie at 0 and vice versa
Can you disable DHCP and set a fixed IP address?

Thanks. I disabled DHCP in DS Manager and used a fixed IP. That seems to have resolved the issue.
