i have ucm Ethernet 5.2
i upgraded it to 6.012

the ucm led indicators works normally
ds manger reads ip

when i enterd the ip & port to the comfigurator , this message appears : couldn't connect to ucm

i tested the MJ101 , i found a short between pins 7&8

Was the UCM working befiore upgrade to 6.012?
Is it ETH01 (orange module) or ETH02 (silver)
MJ101 pins 7 and 8 are not connected so iut should not cause a problem

Are D9 and D10 leds  both  blinking?
check the shunts in SW8 - F should be shunted if ETH01 and Not shunteed if ETH02

Do you have a firewall? if so shut it down and see if you can connect
Firewalls are one of the main reasons for blocking the UCM/ethernet
