After a long time on other projects, we are finally working on WizComfort again
WizComfort 1.9.3 Beta is now available for download from http://www.cytech.biz/wizcomfort.html?category_id=98

The purpose of the Wizcomfort is
  1. As a user interface able to access locally by USB or Ethernet, or remotely by Ethernet In fact USB connection would normally be used only at installation time by the installer, while the user would connect by Ethernet local or remote.
  2. To allow User-level programming without having to use Comfigurator so they do not change the important engineer settings eg Time program times, record messages
  3. To assist during Testing and Commissioning of Comfort
The New Features and Changes are;

Saved UCM Connection Settings
  1. Saved Connection settings  from Comfigurator 3.5, ie Local  and remote Ethernet IP addresses and USB
System Information
  1. The System Information page should be updated with the correct modules information
Settings - Audio on Keypad
  1. Default should be No, because Ethernet would be the most useful interface. If No, then the features which require Voice should be disabled ie Communications Button.
Camera IP Addresses
  1. This feature ihas been removed
Interfaces
  1. The button has been removed
ETH02 Connection Time-out
  1. Wizcomfort detects Ethernet connection lost. LU00 also indicates connection lost. Software shows logged out status.
Inputs/Outputs page Counters and Sensors Status shows Unknown
Bugs Fixed
  1. KP06 in the cclx file caused an Exception
  2. When the cclx file in which WizComfort was previously set is removed from its original directory AND the Auto-Login setting is set as Yes, then WizComfort  had exception.
  3. 'Read Event Log' button is pressed in Event Log tab (without  first signing-in to the system) l caused a unhandled  exception; and if we select Continue then the Read, Save,  Open Event Log functions will be disabled
  4. In Control Menu feedback, the RIO feedback was shown as   'Unknown'.
  5. The IR transmission to RIO's outputs did not work. The output  selections correctly contains the RIO's outputs 129 onwards but it  is  sending to outputs 65 onwards if you see from monitor I/O.
  6. Input / Output status of SCS / RIO is only updated once after  start-up and subsequent status changes will not be updated.
  7. User 9 had the function to Record User Name; the recorded user name will be used for User 3 instead. Also when sign-in using   user 16 code, there will be the function of Recording User Name   not under user 16 but under User 10.
  8. Answering Machine Messages functions i.e. Play New, Play Saved,  and Erase are not working even though the commands sent out (KD60,  KD61, KD62) comply with the specification. This is a comfort issue, not Wizcomfort. For info only
  9. In Holidays when a month is selected and then select back  to none, the day always comes up with invalid number no matter what day number inserted.
  10. When sunrise and sunset times are changed from Wizcomfort and then  updated to the cclx file, the changes for week 49 - 52 will not   get written to the cclx file.

A few quick observations:
- Module scan needs to be aligned with that in configurator; see attached screenshot of before and after.
- The "Communication" tab is greyed out; is this still work in progress?
- Should (this is a question)the "E?" be suppressed from the monitor window when reading the Event log? These really bloat out the results and duplicating that on the Event Log window?
- I hope (requested also for sake of my ComfortClient app too) comfort will allow WizComfort to one day to read existing reminder settings directly from Comfort rather than(could be out of date) entries from the CCLX file.
- Could we have "Read Configuration from CCLX" option too on settings as I guess at the moment you have to restart Wizcomfort again to re-fetch?
- Holidays. If you change these then I guess these can be written back to the CCLX. Question is can they be written to Comfort too then as there is no function in the Comfort Protocol to do this specifically; are you using some sort of direct register read/writes to do this? Interested so I can do in ComfortClient too!

Sorry, my mistake, I see this is enabled/disabled by the "Audio on Keypad" property in Wizcomfort settings.

- The "Communication" tab is greyed out; is this still work in progress?

Yes will align

Should (this is a question)the "E?" be suppressed from the monitor window when reading the Event log? These really bloat out the results and duplicating that on the Event Log window? The Monitor should show exactly the communications between the UCM and PC. Supressing any message will hinder troubleshoooting

Reminder settings can be read from Comfort using the UL (upload ) command.
ComfortClient can do the same using the information on addresses from iomap.cym

- Could we have "Read Configuration from CCLX" option too on settings as I guess at the moment you have to restart Wizcomfort again to re-fetch? That should not be a problem, but I dont understand why the cclx file would change while Wizcomfort is open?

Interested so I can do in ComfortClient too! Comfigurator uses only the Comfort protocol, no hidden commands
The DL command writes to comfort using locations, and so could ComfortCleint

You've been in Wizcomfort for a while, made a number of changes, but now had second thoughts and easier to re-read the config than to undo all of your singular changes.

I've noticed that if you Change the holidays and write to Comfort then the values don't get updated to Comfort. Address 0x288 is the DL address I was looking for in the Monitor log trace.

Also seems Holidays (and presumably other data too) is read from the CCLX on start-up. Given this is aimed at end users and you give them the ability to write settings back to Comfort then surely on start-up you should also be reading from Comfort too rather than the CCLX data; unless of course you need the latter to overlay more descriptive labels. That way the user changed data starting point is that currently running in the Comfort system and not whatever the engineer last uploaded via Comfigurator.

Minor bug BTW; use the "Update Comfort" action and the popup window displayed is titled "FormProgress1".
