Hi,
As per previous posters, I'm getting a problem with comfort siezing the internal telephone line and will not return it after making a dialout.
For example, I had a battery low message yesterday which called my mobile. I was actually in the house, and busy so let it go to voicemail. Actually I think it did this about 3 times - Comfort doesnt give up easily.
Just now, I go to make a phone call, and discover that the internal phone is not working (still held by Comfort). This is almost 24 hours and clearly something is wrong.
I reset the comfort main panel and immediately i have a dialtone again.
My comfort is
Comfort II Ultra
V 5.164
I have disabled all dialouts at the moment until this can be fixed. Are there any bugs in my (rather old) version that may account for this? Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance
Paul

There is a known bug in 5.164, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum79/1421.html
see Known Issues 9
In Dial out to fixed line phones (not mobile), if no DTMF, continuous or Busy tone is detected by Comfort then the call may not end.
Upgrade to the latest firmware version 6 which has many improvements
I suggest you take the opportunity to upgrade UCMs as well
As your firmware is version 5 you will need to use the UCM programming Cable to upgrade firmware, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1783.html
