The new firmware is available from http://www.cytech.biz/ucmknx_firmware.html?category_id=101
Known Bugs
- KNX to Comfort for Keypad keys, Panic, Time, Date, Arm system, Bypass zone do not work.
Bugs Fixed- If a Floating Point Telegram Type is mapped to a Sensor, receiving a telegram may cause a telegram to be sent to KNX with the value of 1. This problem was reported in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum12/2150.html
- If a 1-bit Drive Control Telegram is mapped to a counter 255 this may cause a spurious Response from Comfort to KNX. This problem was reported in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum12/2816.html
Improvements- Send Floating Point EIS5 Telegram allows -32768 to + 32767
Please note that products purchased may not have the latest firmware. Firmware can be upgraded using another UCM and Comfigurator

Hello,
i noticed an important different behaviour than old firmware.
If a KNX group address sends a "ON" telegram, successive "ON" telegrams will not trigger the response associated to the COUNTER linked to the KNX group address, until a new "OFF" telegram is sent.
In other words, response is not triggered if the actual group address value is equal to the previous value.
"KNX Group address value" versus "response"
ON ----> trig response
ON ---->
OFF ---> trig response
OFF --->
ON ----> trig response
OFF ---> trig response
etc....
With older firmware, the response was triggered everytime a telegram arrives, irrespective of the previous value.
"KNX Group address value" versus "response"
ON ----> trig response
ON ----> trig response
OFF ---> trig response
OFF ---> trig response
ON ----> trig response
OFF ---> trig response
etc....
May this related to this topic ?
Please confirm if this is a bug or it's a normal behaviour that will be mantained in future releases.
Thanks
Keep up the good work.
Best regards.
Massimo

No it is not a bug
What is the preference? activate responses only when changed or regardless of change ?

Hi Chiu
Only when the value has changed should a telegram be transmitted

If a KNX button is programmed to always send an ON telegram, eg as in a Scene button, that means that Comfort would not activate any response
Only when the button toggles the value, would responses work
It seems like the "old" way should be better, that Comfort activates the Response regradless of whether the telegram has the same value

Yes ident. You are correct. If you need to filter telegrams, you can do it in the response code.

Bug found for UCM/KNX 6.024
KNX to Comfort for Keypad keys, Panic, Time, Date, Arm system, Bypass zone do not work.
1-bit switching, 4 bit dimming, 1 byte scaling, Floating point, Virtual Inputs mapping are OK
This will be fixed in the next release soon

I' m still with 6.015 because the behaviour of 6.024 in handling telegrams has changed.
Will the next firmware handle telegrams like 6.015? (See your post #6 in this thread)
Thanks.

Why do you prefer the old way, telegram with the same value is sent to Comfort?
An explanation will help us to underrstand the concerns, as others prefer the new way
It is not advisable to keep using old firmware for long because support will be a problem in future

I have many scenes that work with only "on" telegram.
I have all pushbuttons that works in the same way, only "on" telegram are sent, because those are, for example, secondary pushbuttons for garage door, timed lights etc.
I boubt to be the only one and i think that others will have same problems.
When passed from 6.015 to 6.024, it was a nightmare, so i reverted to 6.015.
Telegrams must alway be passed because comfort is a central logic unit (and it has to trap all telegrams to correctly handke logic functions) and not a stupid light actuator.
You may provide a checkbox to swith between behaviours, but i really think that not filtering is the correct way.

Any idea when the "KNX to Comfort for Keypad keys, Panic, Time, Date, Arm system, Bypass zone do not work" bug is going to be solved?
I am relaying on this functionality to arm/disarm the alarm and right now I cannot do it anymore which is annoying. Any work around while you are working on the fix?
Cheers,
GIMI
