Hi,
After upgrading firmware to 6.022 and uploading a new configuration I have lost the Alarm Phrases.
For example, I used to recieve this sms message:
0000-BATTERYWARNING-01
But now I get this:
0000-07-001 Main
They keypads display (and say) the right things. It's only SMS messages which are incorrect.
Any ideas what I need to do to correct this?
Many Thanks,
Tas

The SMS messages are taken from the Comfigurator Alarm Types and zone names
Write your cclx file to comfigurator again
I suspect you have upgraded from a very old version
Do a Scan for all modules and detect the UCM/GSM
You can enter SMS Alphanumric Text ID in the UCM/GSM configuration so that it sends text instead of 0000 ie
"Tas House- 01-Intruder Alarm - 02 Kitchen Window

My modules are already detected.
I've tried writing everything to comfort using comfigurator a couple of times and it hasn't worked.
Changing the Alphanumeric ID has worked, but I am still not seeing text for the arm type. I am now getting this.
Comfort-07-001 Main
Thanks,
Tas

Go to Security Types > Alarm Types not "arm types"
the text is in each Alarm Type
If you stil have problems can you send your cclx file to support@cytech.biz

We have traced this problem. It is due to bug in Comfigurator (up to 3.5.6)
if the Response Numbers exceed the maximum number (1023 for Ultra) then the Alarm Type Names are written to Comfort with an illegal character in front. When you Read from Comfort, the alarm type names will have the 1st letter missing
The GSm SMS messages for alarm types will also be missing
This will be fixed in the next release of Comdfigurator (3.5.7 or later)

I have a problem since May when I upgraded comfort firmware (now at 6.020) and comfigurator. It is not exactly as you describe.
I do not get certain alarm type messages (e.g. intruder, tamper). The messages arrive completely blank. (See iphone screen print attached).
However, I have one alarm type (I call it doorbell) which notifies SMS message correctly to users.
Also, if I read the log from Comfort, the alarm type names are correct (not missing first character).
Is this explained by your findings about comfigurator?Attachment: Missing SMS.jpg (Downloaded 28 times) Last edited on Sunday Sep 30th, 2012 09:30 am by gaynorc

Okay, I have upgraded as suggested. That seems to have corrected the problem. Thanks.
