The new beta version of the Comfort Android App is available for testingfrom http://www.cytech.biz/product_details.php?item_id=373 This improves the status updating for the control Menu, but there may still be issues with updating for large menus The siren sounds have been sorted out The Saved Connection Settings for Local and Remote Network settings can be imported from the cclx file so you do not have to enter the settings in the app Please use the new upload link at http://www.cytech.biz/crl_comfort_app_convertor_v2.php Please post your feedback on this forum |

Hi, Love the new local/remote seettings import function, makes it much easier to set up multiple devices. Nice to see this spread across the android and iphone app ove time too, so setting up all your devices should be much easier and quicker. Would be nice to be able to do IP camera settings this way too, perhaps look at it over next comfigurator release ? Anyway, with regards functionality, everything seems to be working, but from first impressions, I do not see any speed improvement in updating status of devices etc. It can still be very slow, to the point that at times, if you were looking at it remotely, you would think that devices were turned off, whereas in fact, they just have not retrieved status. Would be nice to see an improvement in update speeds on login, as it still makes it very untrustworthy with the current time it takes. Also, perhaps some sort of flag on the keypad screen to show that the app has logged in and is finished updating status of devices, so at least this way it is possible to know that the app is not reporting correct status yet. Or perhaps even, the status icon for each device could have an initial icon of a blue X instead which indicates that status not yet retrieved, then either the red x or green circle to indicate the read status. |

Just to give a time, it took about 90ses for my app to get a full stats of all my devices including Scs temps etc |

Thanks, these are good suggestions The IP camera settings are not in Comfigurator so they cannot be imported from the cclx file. The android app uses a 3rd party app IP Cam Viewer, basic (free) or Pro (paid Versions). The browser based IP for cameras does not work on most android phones |

From my side it also seems better but I have noticed that sometimes the Control action is not performed and I have to press the action again. I will keep on testing to give more detailed feedback. Ingo |

Ok, doing a lot of On|Off switching it seems that sometimes the 'state' get's lost. I used my Test-System which only has 8 zones and created one Control Item that Switches Output 3 On or Off. From the Android App I can switch 9/10 On|Off without any issues but then one slips through where either the Output doesn't change OR the update to Android is not seen/acted upon. I am doing it remotely so cannot see the actual Output state. The sequence I use is to select the 'On Action then press the back button to check the state. I then press the Off action and then back again to check the state. Ingo |

I would echo I gos point about missed control commands also,. I did notice a few occasions last night where when I activated a light in the app it did not turn on but thought it was me missing g the button. Now that I ingo noticed the same I am sure that's what I had happen too |

Hi ident, Yes a noticeable improvement, looks to take about 5 to 6sexonds to get initial update. Once everything is updated then a very quick response time to show New status when controlling through app. Will play around a bit more and let you know but looks much better from initial testing. Still reckon the Blue icon status for unknown status would be reassuring and useful though if you want to keep it in mind for layer releases! Regards Eamon |

All looks to be reporting back accurately and times much improved. I have been taking rough measures of how long it takes to report back my Scs temps. I start counting when I see the green comfort security light on the main screen. On average from external it takes about 20 to 25 secs for them to update with a reading. I use the Scs temps as a guide as they are the last counter to update generally. Compared to last android version, I am seeing everything g report back 100 percent of the time which is brilliant. I am also seeing counters or devices updating instantly when acicated byapp or manually if you are also watching the app. The initial update time is a bit slow and would be nice to see it improve but as you say if the alternative icon is used it would also resolve the problem for a user perspective as it removes uncertainty Thanks guys, delighted with this version |

Also looks fine to me. All actions are now getting to the destination and all Feedback is updating the App status. One thing I noticed is that Comms Failure on Slave 1-3 works fine but Slaves 4 and 5 indicates ID4 and ID5. It could be something on my side or perhaps it's not included in the command decoding of AM1924/AM1925 messages. Ingo |

Thanks, I'm at version 1.18 it says, but if I go tongue play store it does. It give an upgrade option, do I need to uninstall to upgrade ? |

You can upgrade to a new version without uninstalling However if you went to "Tongue Play Store", I would be careful about any upgrade from there |

When a Zone is bypassed then the Android Client shows 'Bypas'. Can it be updated to 'Bypass'? Ingo |

The zone should show "Bypass". In some phones the word may be too long and you may be seeing "Bypas" followed by the "s" on the next line (overflow of text) |
