Hi I have tried to activate the doorbell response but cannot get it to function, I have a fermax citymax connected to DM02. I have tested activating a response by adding it to Events, Misc Events, Doorbell response.
I tried with my own response and then changed it for the one on your tutorial with play reminder message. None of them worked- the doorbell stays the same as it always have.

Do you know why the responses might not be activating?

The Doorbell Response should definately work when the doorbell button is pressed and is detected by Comfort, ie the keypads chime

Try assigning a Response that you know definately works, like turn on a light that you can see

If you have problems send the cclx file to support@cytech.biz

Thanks for the quick response as always, I added in "do a response I know works" and strangely it then did that response and played the reminder message that wasn't working. I will try and do some more programming and see how I go.

Thanks

Hi Quick question, I want to be able to select which phone number the doorbell rings when pressed based upon a flag. I.E if flag user 1 <>0 then dial user 1, if flag <>0n then dial user 2. if no flag is checked then do not dial out but divert to answerphone.

Is it possible to do this? I only want the phone to dial out when I tell it to.

Another request to add to this is, is it able to set the fire alarm to only dial out in away mode or day mode? I don't want it ringing my mobile when I'm home

There is an Action "Limit Dialout" where you can select the Phones 1 to 8 for dial out when  an alarm is activated
The Doorbell Alarm Type should have dial out checked for all the phones that you want to dial to
The Limit Dial out action can be used to limit the dialout to those selected by the checkboxes. You can use logic with the Limit Dial out flag

This action must be in the Doorbell alarm Responses

You can use Limit dialout action for this as well

Hi I am still having issues with this, when in away mode it dials to my mobile but I cannot limit the numbers, all the rest of my responses appear to work but not the call divert. I have put flags in to say if they are empty then dial to none but it seems to ignore these, I also have flags to say if user 1 is checked dial user 1 and if user 2 then dial user 2. When the system has rung me I just hear wrong code. Are you able to help? I guess I must be doing something wrong but not sure what

We have checked your cclx file and have sent an email to explain in detail

For the benefit of the forum, the issues are

Doorbell Response runs whenever the doorbell is pressed

Doorbell Alarm Response runs only in Away Mode. Hence there is no need to check for away mode or night more in this response

You have the same Response allocated to Doorbell Response and Doorbell Alarm Response. Hence the same response will run 2 times in Away Mode, as Doorbell Response and as Doorbell Alarm Response. You have flags which change state in the response, hence when the Response is run again the flag is changed back to the original state ie off

The Limit Dialout action must be placed in the Alarm Response in order to work

In Comfigurator 3.6.2 You can check the status of the flags in Names > Flags by checking the Show status box. This tells you what the flags are doing, which helps you to troubleshoot the program

Hi I am still having issues with this, I have broken down the responses so they cannot run at the same time, however in away mode it will only dial to the default number, in day mode is does not dial out, however when I disarm the security after applying the response it dials my mobile and I hear security off. I will send you my file again thanks
