FYI
I found that I needed to setup port forwarding for both TCP and UDP in order to be able to connect remotely from the Android App.
Initially I had setup TCP only but it seems it also needs UDP.
I was Setting up on my Virgin Superhub (120Mb Broadband) if that is a factor, though more likely it's a feature of the app?

I cannot see why you need UDP, the UCM/ETH02 is normally set up for TCP

I only have TCP open on my router and it works like a charm.

Must be my virgin superhub router then because it doesn't like it if I don't set both.
