Updating the firmware of a UCM/ETH2 gave me error. Now it is always on LEDs RDY (green), BUSY1 D2 (red), BUSY2 D3 (red) and ERR D4 (red).
On the other side, the D10 LED (green) flashes and the LED D9 (red) is never on.
The D101 LED flashes and the DS Manager detects the module but COMFIGURATOR (both 3.5.6 and 3.6.4) fails or not detect the UCM.
Sometimes I get an error telling me that the Configurator Firmware have 6 or above.
In the manual it says: "If the ID is unassigned, all LEDs are ON." but I changed the jumpers from SW7 to put another ID and unchanging.
What I can do? I have not any UCM communication but I have a UCM / KNX.
Thank you.Attachment: IMG_0886b.jpg (Downloaded 60 times) Last edited on Thursday Feb 7th, 2013 11:40 am by mario.jr

if you have an error in upgrading any firmware, you must not reset the module beiong upgraded or Comfort and try again the same process
The UCM firmware is now erased but you can still do the Firmware upgrade
What is the UCM ID? Do not change any jumpers at this time

If the firmware is erased, how I can now record the firmware?
Do I need another UCM USB, RS232 or ETH?
Thanks

There is a chance that you can still upgrade the firmware even if the upgrade failed and the system reset
What was the error message?
Try the upgrade again using the same method
If it iss not successful then you need another UCM to do the upgrade using the firmware ugprading cable

Not finding the UCM.
I understand that I would be UCM / KNX, right?

You cannot use UCM/KNX to upgrade a UCM/ETH02
You need another UCM/USB, ETH02 or RS232 to upgrade another one of these UCMs

I've solved.
Got a UCM / USB with a good price and with the programming cable Update UCM / ETH.
Thank you very much for everything.

Thats good. Upgrade both UCMMs to the latest version 7 firmware
Then try upgrading the UCM again without the programming cable using Comfigurator 3.6.4
