Hi Guys,

I've fixed a few bugs in the previous release version of the Comfort II Simulator. This one has a few added features and bug fixes.

I've also included an updated 'Sample 1.xml' floorplan that you can load on ComfortClient. This one has descriptions to all the objects so you can easily see which Inputs/Outputs will activate certain objects.

Just copy the 'Sample 1.xml' floorplan over the existing one, start the Simulator in any directory and point ComfortClient to the IP where the Simulator is running.

I've uploaded the Simulator to Google Drive, the link below is where you can find the Beta version.

https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B8ULGMOeTrZwb2J1ZDZyTW1xaUU/edit?usp=sharing

If you find anything that is not working as expected then please let me know and I will fix it. For new features, reply to this post or just drop me a PM and I will add it to the list for the next release.

Just a side note: If the Simulator encounters an exception it will disconnect your connected Client. If you hear the 'Exclamation' sound, just check if the Simulator didn't kick you out. If so, try and recreate the problem and send me the details.

Enjoy,
Ingo

All,

I thought I might as well make available my latest Comfort II Simulator that I've been using to test all the ComfortClient development.

The updated version had an internal engine change and lots of stuff added to make it more streamline and to get into line with the newest Comfort II features.

As before, this is only a development tool and some stuff might not work as expected. Give it a try, play with it, it surely helps me when I don't have access to a real Comfort system and when in the mood to code something. The Help file however is still the old one but most of the stuff is fairly straight forward to understand.

Regards,
Ingo

There were some internal changes done by Cytech since 3.6.4, you need to upgrade to the latest version and save the CCLX file again. The Revision History states it's tested with 3.9.2.

I just tested an old 3.4.0 file and it works. Just try to load the file in Comfigurator and save it again, perhaps that might fix it. If not just send me the file and I will check to see what could be the cause.

Make sure you have .NET 4.5 installed. I'll add a check for the next version.

I thought a revisit to my old Simulator is overdue. In the link below is the updated Simulator that conforms to most of the latest Comfort responses. The Help file is a bit outdated but valid still.

The Simulator is now a .NET 4.7 application so make sure you have that loaded to prevent any issues.

Ingo
